Letter F

This must have been the week that I was packing up the apartment because there wasn't much to show for our "f" week.... sorry

Almost Everything from this F week came from Confessions of a Homeschooler.  If you haven't checked this blog out yet... you must... it is awesome... and FREE!

We printed out the number cards and placed the corresponding gold fish on the numbers.
My bubba is practicing showing the numbers on his fingers.  (Something that is pretty tricky for him)

We did some measuring with gold fish.  This is a great way to introduce measuring to your child.  Instead of using a ruler or yard stick, ask, "How many fish long is this, or match box cars?"... you get the idea.

Another tip for you parents that have kids that aren't big fans of coloring, ask them to lay out the color crayon they want for the fish, water, shy, whatever... this helps my little man focus on one area of his page at a time instead of "scribbling" all over his paper.  (Which isn't coloring in my book!)

Fish building- We usually skip the building activities but thought we'd try one out this week.

F is for FLAG

And we had to have fig newtons for snack of course!
