Our Weekly Schedule

I love to see how other stay at home moms organize there life.  Although I have to make an effort at not letting my schedules, charts, and lists run my life... they are wonderful tools to help me stay organized and make sure I am using even second of my time wisely.  Here is a look at our weekly schedule.  (My 4 year old son is "M" and my 21 month old daughter is "E")  I'd love to see links to what you do at home too!  Just leave a comment below

Letter G

So this week I decided to get my toddler in on some of the alphabet action. Even though her attention span is like 11 seconds, she did wonderful and had a great time doing some of the "G" activities with us.  (I spend most of the week talking about farm animals with her which will be in a separate post)  Apparently, this was another Confessions of a Homeschooler week because almost every activity came from her site.  

Here was our topic board for the week to help me stay on track 

Letter G- Color with green crayons, markers, chalk, glue... whatever you have in your house that is green.

Gumball sorting counting- I loved this activity because I first had him sort all the gumballs by color, then match the color of the gumball with the gumball machine, then count the gumballs to make sure he had the correct number in each gumball machine.  (Note- this activity to FOREVER to cut out and laminate but it did keep him busy for at list 15 minutes and we did it several times that week.  Just fyi)

Makeover Time!

I don't know about you but I love love love blogs that are super easy for me to find what I am looking for from the tabs on the top of the page.  I am attempting to give this blog a makeover that will hopefully be more user friendly and super duper easy to find what you (and future me) are looking for.  With that said, Preschool at Home is kind of under construction for the moment and may be for a little while since I am not the most tech savvy person in the world.  If you have any suggestions or something you'd love to see on here, leave a comment and let me know.

We have just completed our "I" week which was a wonderful week including insects, inch measuring, iguanas, and inchworms.  We were just at the mall this morning and my 20 month old pointed out an "I" that she saw on one of the store signs!!  Must have been a productive week!!
